The enterprise seeks financial support to sustain its workforce and organize an annual intergenerational community-building event. This event aims to foster connections, share experiences, and build solidarity among Black women of different generations. The learners will apply their classroom knowledge of grant writing, research, and persuasive communication to develop a comprehensive proposal. The project will involve identifying potential funding sources, understanding the specific requirements of grant applications, and tailoring the proposal to align with the funders' priorities. By the end of the project, learners will have gained practical experience in grant writing and contributed to a meaningful cause that supports community development and empowerment.
The primary deliverable is a well-researched and professionally written grant proposal ready for submission. Additional deliverables include a list of potential funding sources and a presentation summarizing the proposal's key points and strategy. The proposal will include a detailed budget, a clear description of the event's objectives, and an explanation of its anticipated impact on the community.
